A few short months after starting her job at Condé Nast, she enrolled in night school at the Institute of Culinary Education. After completing a year of culinary classes, she went on to work as a line cook at popular SoHo restaurant Charlie Bird. She then went on to start her private chef and catering business, Wishbone Kitchen, at only 23 years old.
The name Wishbone Kitchen is inspired by Meredith’s mother Nancy who is a fantastic home cook. Every week she would prepare a roast chicken for dinner and save the wishbone for Meredith to make a wish.
